Community Comes First

Respect at Work.
Support That Reaches Further.

Good relationships grow through everyday actions: welcoming people, respecting their skills and helping communities keep essential vehicles working.

Métis Colleagues & Shared Pride

At Standard Spring and Standard Repair, a majority of our mechanical employees have identified themselves as Métis. Their skills and experience are an important part of our teams and the work we do together.

Opportunity, Skills & Respect

We hire from Indigenous communities and support equal opportunities in a respectful workplace. We welcome qualified mechanics, including Red Seal certified tradespeople, to apply when positions are available.

Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and to have their skills valued. Contact Standard Auto Works to ask about current opportunities.

Fleet Support for First Nations & Tribal Governments

We give priority attention to First Nations and Tribal government fleet needs. Our teams can help arrange parts delivery to remote locations, special vehicle service pricing and service plans suited to each community.

We work with fleet teams to agree on availability, delivery options and timing. Our focus is on dependable vehicles that support essential services, community safety and care for the land.

Rooted in This Place.

From our location at 313 Princess Street in Winnipeg, we work on Treaty 1 Territory and in the National Homeland of the Red River Métis. Respect for the land, water and people belongs in the choices we make every day.
